A note on our testing routine: We put our new (or at least new to us) products on the ’to be tested’ shelf. Our sales staff are encouraged to take a product home and test it at their leisure, the product is theirs to keep. We ask only that they give us a written review of the product. (It’s a tough job, but someone has to do it!). We do occasionally ask non-staff members to test, but try to keep the circle small so that we have the same authors testing a number of products.

I was quite excited to review the Jack Rabbit, having seen the episode on HBO’s Sex and the City where Charlotte couldn’t get enough of it. I could hardly wait until Saturday, I normally do Sex Toy reviews for OV on Saturday afternoons when my boyfriend plays golf. I’m a little shy and feel more relaxed without an audience.
I had never used a ’combination’ vibrator before, it looked a bit comical when I took it out of it’s box. It has a nice penis shaped vibrator with beads around the shaft and a cute little rabbit sitting perched on the bottom of the shaft. I put the batteries in and played with the controls. I turned on the Rabbit first, it has it’s own sliding control lever and the vibrating egg sent those long rabbit ears flying!. I then turned on the rotating shaft... and smiled, watching the beads twirl round and round and the gyrations the penis part was doing, I knew this toy had great potential.
I turned the rotating shaft on and tried to insert it, duh!. I felt a little foolish , this thing twists and turns way too much, it must be off when it is inserted!. I slipped it inside of me and positioned it so that the rabbit had his nose buried in my lips and his ears on my clit. I was already somewhat excited from all the anticipation. I turned the rotating shaft on slowly, it was heavenly, the feelings were wonderful, I could feel those beads going round and round. When I reviewed this product, I gave it a resounding 5 stars. However since that time I have reviewed the I-Vibe Rabbit and have become attached to it’s new High-tec controller and its intermittent and building vibrations. I can’t rate them both 5 stars, so I have lowered the rating on the Jack Rabbit to 4 stars. I still think this is a great vibrator at a great price and highly recommend it. The I-Vibe Rabbit is made of expensive silicone and has some more fancy features, it is also 3 times the price of the Jack Rabbit.
